  • Description
  • The Acan Lord is a stunning hardy and brightly colored LPS (Large Polyp Stony) coral. Acan Lords come in two main color ranges. Grade A being mostly bright and deep reds, while Grade B are mostly green and purple.

    Acan Lords are fast growing coral and can be slightly aggressive. Acan Lords do best in both low to moderate water flow and lighting. After placing your Acan Lord in its desired location, watch for good polyp extension. If you don't see good extension, try slightly moving the coral until you see better extension. Acan Lords also do best when placed lower in the aquarium as well.

    When placing a Acan Lord in your tank, make sure there is enough room between it and its neighboring coral. At night the Acan Lord will send out sweepers looking for food. If they come in contact with other coral, damage can be inflicted to that neighbor.

    Acan Lords should get enough food from the water column and aquarium lighting, but if you feel that they require more food you can try adding foods like mysis and baby brine shrimp as well as zooplankton to the tank in the evening hours.
