  • Description
  • The Pearl Bubble Coral is a very elegant and beautiful LPS (Large Polyp Stony) coral. Pearl Bubble Corals tend to be either green, purple or tan, but are mostly found in green hues. Pearl Bubble Corals have large bubble like polyps that extend out of a central base.

Pearl Bubble Corals like to be placed towards the middle to bottom of the aquarium. They like low to moderate water flow and moderate lighting. Once you set your Pearl Bubble Coral in the desired location, watch to see how much the polyps extend. If you don't see much polyp extension, then slightly move your coral around until you see more extension. Pearl Bubble Corals are relatively easy to care for and are a great coral for beginner aquarists.

Pearl Bubble Coral are aggressive corals and will sting nearby coral with their long tentacles. You should also be aware when handling Pearl Bubble Coral, since they can also inflict a sting to humans. When placing your Pearl Bubble Coral, take into account that they will sting nearby coral neighbors.

You can supplement the diet of a Pearl Bubble Coral with meaty foods like baby brine and mysis shrimp and micro-plankton fed in the evening hours.
