  • Saltwater Plants in a huge variety of species, from macroalgae to full sized plants such are mangroves. Saltwater Plants can be extremely beneficial to your marine tank.

    Many species of Saltwater Plants will help with such things as water clarity and removing carbon dioxide and nitrates. Some Saltwater Plants can also be feed to various species of marine life. Some species of Saltwater Plants can be invasive to your tank, and are often times best left in separate tanks or refugiums.

    Macroalgaes like Chaetomorpha, Gracilaria and Caulerpa when kept in your system's refugium can absorb a lot of your tanks nutrients and when trimmed, remove those nutrients from your system, thereby improving the overall health of your entire system and its inhabitants.
