  • The Pakistan Butterflyfish is a very unique and interesting looking butterfly. Pakistan Butterflyfish have a mostly black body with yellow dots in diagonal patterns along its body with a red tail. Pakistan Butterflyfish also have white stripes on their faces.

    Pakistan Butterflyfish reach a maximum adult size of around 7 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 90 gallons in size. Pakistan Butterflyfish are peaceful fish and should get along with other fish in your tank. Pakistan Butterflyfish can be aggressive to other butterfly fish in smaller thanks though.

    Pakistan Butterflyfish are known to be coral eaters and will pick at SPS corals. Pakistan Butterflyfish will also eat some small inverts found in reef tanks. For these two reasons you must proceed with caution if you’re going to add Pakistan Butterflyfish to your reef tank.

    Pakistan Butterflyfish can be hard to get eating in reef tanks, sometimes you must use live feeder shrimp to get them eating. Once they are used to eating in your tank, Pakistan Butterflyfish need a diet rich in meaty foods being carnivores. You can offer them mysis and brine shrimp, high quality frozen foods and small pieces of fresh seafood.
