  • Description
  • The Red Sea Clownfish is a stunning and rarely seen clownfish. Red Sea Clownfish have a mostly orange body with two strong white vertical stripes.

    Red Sea Clownfish reach a maximum adult size of around 5 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 40 gallons in size. Red Sea Clownfish are semi-aggressive fish and might be aggressive towards other clownfish and damsels in smaller tanks. Red Sea Clownfish should be peaceful to other fish, coral and inverts and make a great choice for reef tanks.

    Red Sea Clownfish will often seek an anemone to host them. The anemone will keep the Red Sea Clownfish safe from large predators who will be stung by the anemone, while the clownfish is immune to its sting. Red Sea Clownfish are also aggressive eaters and should not be kept with slow eaters.

    Red Sea Clownfish are omnivores and require a diet that is rich in both meaty and green foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Red Sea Clownfish healthy and thriving.
