The Court Jester Goby is a stunning and interesting goby that is perfect for reef tanks. Court Jester Gobies have a bluish-brown body with red and yellow horizontal stripes along their long slender body.

The Court Jester Goby reaches a maximum size of 3 inches, so they can be kept in tanks as small as 10 gallons. Court Jester Gobies can be aggressive to other similar gobies, so it’s best to only keep one in smaller tanks. Other fish should not be bothered by the Court Jester Goby. Also coral and inverts are safe from Court Jester Gobies, making them reef safe.

Court Jester Gobies can be chased and seen as food to larger more aggressive fish, so it’s a good idea to have lots of rock for them to hide in and also for them to graze on algae off of.

Court Jester Gobies are omnivores and require a diet rich in both meaty and green foods. The Court Jester Goby really does well with foods such as brine and mysis shrimp and marine algae. If the right foods and tank conditions are given, Court Jester Gobies could be a perfect fit for your tank.
