  • The Zebra Catalina Goby is a stunning and very colorful goby. Zebra Catalina Gobies have a mostly red body with strong vertical blue stripes and blue markings on its face.

    Zebra Catalina Gobies reach a maximum adult size of around 2 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 10 gallons in size. Zebra Catalina Gobies are known for being strong jumpers and need to be kept in tanks with a tight fitting lid with no holes large enough for them to jump through. Zebra Catalina Gobies are peaceful fish that shouldn't bother too many other fish, coral or inverts in your tank. This makes the Zebra Catalina Goby a great fish to add to reef tanks.

    Zebra Catalina Gobies can be added to a tank in small groups if the tank is larger and they are introduced at the same time. In smaller tanks, Zebra Catalina Gobies might be aggressive towards other gobies though. Zebra Catalina Gobies will thrive in tanks with lots of live rock and sand for them to forage through. Zebra Catalina Gobies will spend a lot of their day perched or going through the rock looking for small inverts to eat, or going through the sand also looking for a small meal between feedings.

    Zebra Catalina Gobies are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp, high quality meaty frozen foods and high quality flake and pellet foods will keep your Zebra Catalina Goby healthy and happy.
