The Red Louti Grouper is a stunning colorful and large grouper. Red Louti Groupers have a mostly bright red body with strong black markings on its side. Red Louti Groupers also have bright red spots on their bodies. Mature Red Louti Groupers are much deeper red in color.

Red Louti Groupers reach a maximum adult size of around 30 inches and need to be kept in tanks that are at least 300 gallons. Red Louti Groupers are aggressive fish and shouldn't be kept with smaller fish and inverts. For this reason, you must proceed with caution if adding a Red Louti Grouper to your reef tank.

Red Louti Groupers will excel in large fish only systems with other large semi-aggressive to aggressive fish. Red Louti Grouper will add a nice slash of color to most large tanks and are a great showpiece fish.

Red Louti Groupers are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Foods like mysis and brine shrimp along with high quality meaty frozen foods are good for juvenile Red Louti Groupers. As your Red Louti Grouper grows it will need more substantial foods like chunks of fresh seafood. These foods should help your Red Louti Grouper grown and thrive.
