  • Description
  • Flower Anemones are common and widely seen anemones in the aquarium trade. Flower Anemones are extremely popular since they come in such a wide array of colors.

Flower Anemones are considered aggressive and have the potential to attack fish and inverts. This is fairly rare, but can occur. Flower Anemones should be place in the bottom of your tank on the substrate, they will move around then tank until they find a position they like. The Flower Anemone requires both moderate lathing and water flow. Multiple Flower Anemones can also be kept in the same tank if large enough.

Flower Anemones commonly have different color tentacles from their central area. With so many colors, the Flower Anemone is truly a stunning anemone.

Flower Anemones are carnivores and require a diet that is rich in meaty foods. Flower Anemones can be fed small chunks of meaty foods such as mysis shrimp and fresh seafood like fish, crustaceans and mussels.
