  • At TankStop we try to have very straightforward and easy to understand policies. We have had to deal with overly complicated policies of some online stores in the past, and don’t want our customers to have those sorts of experiences with us. Below you will find our general policies, if you have any further questions about any of our policies, please feel free to contact us.



    Returns

    For livestock (Fish, Coral, Inverts, Live Rock), we cannot accept returns on any purchases made on TankStop. All sales are final. Our livestock is packaged and shipped by professionals, who have had decades of experience in shipping marine livestock. Any livestock that is attempted to be returned will likely die during shipment.

    For aquarium supplies, we accept returns of unused and unopened items for up to one year. The item must be in perfect brand new condition for us to accept the return. After 30 days, store credit is the only form of refund we can offer on returned items. Aquariums, sand, salt, rocks, liquids and foods only carry a 30 day return window. Any item sent via freight service needs to be fully opened and inspected before you sign the freight slip. After the freight slip has been signed, you are responsible if the item is damaged. New never used tanks can be returned, but you will be charged both the original freight charge as well as the return freight charge and a restocking fee, which may be very expensive.

    Defective aquarium supplies can be returned during the first 30 days of purchase. After 30 days you will need to contact the item’s manufacture for post purchase support and warranty claims.

    If there is a problem with your order, please let us know as soon as you get the package and we will try to find a solution that best suits you. We try to put as much detail as we can on each and every item featured on TankStop to make sure you choose the right livestock and supplies for your aquarium. Please try to make a very educated decision with your purchases, or contact us if you would like any help trying to choose your livestock and supplies to avoid any potential pitfalls.



    Mis-Advertised Price

    Our prices are automatically generated by the prices our suppliers provide us. On rare occasions they can mis-price an item which leads us to have an incorrect price. We will always try to work with your if an item is priced incorrectly, but if a price is too far off we have the right to cancel the order before it ships. If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us.



    Minimum Order

    Our minimum order is a "Sub Total" of $100. Orders under $100 are not allowed to be processed. If you would like more clarification on this policy or see if an exception can be made, please contact us.
